Terms of Service
Last updated October 2, 2026
By using Betcha (the iPhone app or the website), you agree to these terms.
Friendly wagers, not gambling
Betcha is for friendly bets between people who know each other. It keeps an honor-system ledger of who owes what. No money is held, moved, or paid out through Betcha, and we don't enforce or guarantee that anyone pays up. Settling up is between you and your friends.
Your account
- Keep your recovery code private. Anyone with your username and recovery code can sign in to your account.
- You're responsible for what you post: wagers, check-ins, photos, and comments.
- A witness you pick (or that picks you) referees the wager: their call on the winner and on disputes is final for that wager.
Be decent: zero tolerance for objectionable content
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Don't use Betcha to harass, bully, or threaten anyone, to post anything hateful, sexually explicit, violent, or illegal, to spam, to impersonate someone, or to interfere with the service.
- Report it: use Report on any check-in, comment, or profile. We review reports within 24 hours, remove content that breaks these rules, and remove the accounts of people who post it.
- Block them: blocking someone ends the friendship, and from then on they can't find, add, invite, or poke you, and you won't see their posts or comments. Manage the people you've blocked in Settings.
The service
Betcha is provided as is. We work to keep it running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free, and we may change or discontinue features.
